With wide-ranging intellectual interests, I have sometimes referred to my work history as a Rorschach test.  What possibilities do you see in this sampling of recent projects?  Sustainable, mutually beneficial collaborations are my priority.

BIOLOGY, RACE, AND RACISM

Jan. - May 2017

Hybrid online/lab course designed for the Department of Natural Sciences at Metropolitan State University to support university-wide initiative to institute a Racial Issues Graduation Requirement.  Fifteen weeks and 4 semester credits.  Online course design was implemented in D2L course management software with two LodeStar lecture modules, quizzes, and online discussions.

Virus Studies

COVID-19 MONITORING & MODELING

Mar. - Sep. 2020

A project born out of personal and national crisis.  Simple statistical modeling of incidence and mortality data evolved into eight weeks of data monitoring for the Midwest seven state coordination region, lower and upper bound estimates for county, state, and national incidence and mortality data, and small-scale PPE distribution for health care workers and public health departments.
